Highlights from Data Centre World Madrid 2024

Last week, our team travelled to Spain to exhibit at Data Centre World Madrid, 16 and 17 October at IFEMA Madrid.

In its 4th edition, DCW Madrid 2024 welcomed over 22,500 visitors and over 400 exhibiting companies. We’re proud to have participated in the successful event, which was so popular that it will add a second pavilion with an additional 25,000m2 for the 5th edition in 2025.

At booth A65, our accomplished colleagues—Adrian Brewin, José Romero, Luca Caiazzo, Arantza Torío, Juan Otero, Riccardo Coccoluto, Elena Ruano, Clotilde Coudray, Lucy Bartick, and Julia Coulomb—welcomed visitors and illustrated Reid Brewin Architects’ expertise in the design and construction of data centres.

We had a great time meeting like-minded professionals across all stages of data centre development, including investment, construction, suppliers, and operators. Thank you to everyone who visited our stand to engage in fruitful conversations about the industry. We enjoyed exploring ideas about the various components of design and construction, and we look forward to continuing these conversations with our new connections.

Our team also had the opportunity to attend talks by speakers from leading companies like Schneider Electric and IBM, on topics such as liquid cooling and AI. It is necessary that we stay informed about cutting-edge data centre technology, so we can integrate new solutions in our projects and ensure that our clients have modern, efficient, and innovative facilities. Our dedication to data centre solutions and client satisfaction sets RBA apart as data centre architects.

It was also wonderful to get our team together. They convened in Madrid from our offices in Paris, London, Milan, and Madrid, and some met each other in person for the first time. As an international company, it’s always exciting to come together, forge connections, and share our unique viewpoints. Thank you to the RBA team for an excellent few days in Madrid!
