Behind the designs with RBA… April
It’s been a busy few weeks at the RBA HQs – with numerous site visits, several office celebrations, project milestones, and a handful of insightful CPD sessions thrown into the mix. So, without further ado, here’s a little look at some of the highlights…
Fascinating insight
Our co-founder, Adrian Brewin attended an interesting presentation from EPI which highlighted similarities of business management and beekeeping.
Speaking of the discussion, Adrian coined it “truly inspirational”.
The installation crane
The large machinery arrived onsite to help fit roof level equipment at our ongoing data center project in the south of Paris.
Our resident architect, Nicolas Arman stopped to capture these shots of the action.
Experimenting with virtual reality
Our London-based architect, Matyas Szalay made good use of the new virtual reality headset.
The cutting-edge technology is fantastic for creating immersive experiences at design concept stage, to help us envisage the finished product.
Celebrating progress
We took part in the commemorative ritual ‘gigot bitume’ in recognition of the main structural works and waterproofing being completed on our site in Paris.
The contractors prepared a leg of lamb in the asphalt container — which was used in the construction — cooked it for 40 minutes and served the feast to the rest of the hardworking team.
