Highlights from Data Centre World Paris
RBA’s global team headed to the renowned trade fair at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles to make our debut at the industry-leading event.
Exhibiting at Booth H125, our experienced RBA colleagues – Adrian Brewin, Alex Reid, Romain Garcia-Urgon, Charles-Emile Perchaud, Ana Rita Garcia, Jose Romero, Dina Ouldelhkim, Patricia Deterville, and Kate Palluel — were on hand to answer questions and allow delegates to learn more about Reid Brewin Architects’ expertise when it comes to the design and construction of data centres.
The two-day trade show is attended by numerous industry decision-makers, which presented the perfect opportunity to meet with like-minded experts to explore and share ideas about how to best integrate the various components of architectural projects while meeting sustainability and regulatory guidance.
If you missed the event, here are some of our highlights:
Recognised as the world’s largest and most popular independent data centre event, the 2022 edition was extremely well attended, with more than 230 exhibitors from various countries arriving to present their latest innovations, deliver presentations, and contribute in panel discussions.
In addition, over the two-days, 3,000 visitors crossed the threshold to gain inspiration and knowledge about cutting-edge data centre technologies, and how they might meet the needs of the changing landscape.
The RBA team thoroughly enjoyed taking in the rich diversity of pioneering products and services on our visit, while also attending eye-opening debates — with professionals responding to and discussing the most pressing topics in the data centre field.
Our co-founder, Alex Reid also joined a panel discussion titled ‘Construction, financing, security and maintenance of the data centre’ on the opening day of the show. In the one-hour slot, Alex shared his expertise on integrating various components of the architectural project while meeting sustainability and regulatory advice with a full house of 140 attendees!
Finally, it was fantastic to see the impact of RBA’s growing reputation across France at this popular event. As the only exhibiting architects, we enjoyed showcasing our products, services, and experience within the complex world of data centre construction, and welcomed over 150 people to our booth to enjoy an immersive VR experience, gain advice on reusing ‘waste’ heat in and share ideas around tackling the growing environmental challenges.
We had an excellent time meeting like-minded industry professionals and exchanging experiences and best practice on the design and build of the vital structures and have come away with a renewed excitement about what the future might hold for the industry.
Thank you for having us, Data Centre World Paris, we’ll be back in 2023!
