LinkedIn’s office, Paris

Reimagining LinkedIn’s home in the heart of Paris

Delivered on behalf of the ‘world’s largest professional social networking platform’, this five-month project delivery initially consisted of creating a fresh workspace within the LinkedIn’s existing Parisian HQ – spread across two levels of a HQE building in the 8th arrondissement.

As the delivery progressed – and the pandemic took hold – the brief evolved into one which required socially distant desk hubs, alongside more informal and collaborative spaces. This resulted in a Covid-secure office for employees based in the city.

Now, the team has a light and airy ‘home’ which provides colleagues with a genuine choice when it comes to workstations. This ‘green’ hub promotes a serene and harmonious atmosphere – enhanced by wall graphics with themes reminiscent of Paris, notable French products, and historical places.

What’s more, in a bid to be more sustainable, the entire project was designed to encompass materials that meet the architectural charter of the building and according to environmental criteria.

When sharing the project on LinkedIn, James Fee – Project Delivery – Design & Build at LinkedIn for EMEA and LATAM – said: “We challenged the design team to come up with ideas to improve the space and acoustics while retaining as much as we could to protect the structure, be sustainable, and deliver the project quickly.

“We are really excited to now provide a variety of new work settings, graphics, AV, and collaboration spaces for our teams to enjoy.”
