Projet

Projet phare pour positionner la marque en tant que leader sur le marché des Data Centers

En 2007, Reid Brewin Architectes a remporté un concours architectural dont l’objet était de concevoir l’agrandissement du site déjà existant du Campus Data Center Global Switch situé à Clichy la Garenne, au nord de Paris. L’entreprise cherchait à créer un nouveau bâtiment phare pour pouvoir se positionner en tant que leader sur le marché français des Data Centers. Ce bâtiment devait se situer à la pointe de la création architecturale contemporaine afin de servir de vitrine à l’entreprise. RBA a travaillé conjointement avec une équipe de consultants spécialistes, WSP, Design Box, EC Harris – devenu Arcadia – et Cap Ingelec, et a présenté un projet initiant le plus grand Data Center d’Europe. Global Switch, enthousiasmé par le projet, a décidé de commissionner l’artiste australien Chris Fox pour une oeuvre monumentale destinée à l’atrium. RBA continue son travail avec Global Switch en vue d’améliorer les bâtiments existants et pour des projets d’avenir. Copyright © Images Jérôme Epaillard
